Intro

Yes. I am one of the few.. the proud.. the only real EQ gamer gals. (And no, I'm not ugly or a lesbian either:) {not that either are a bad thing}
I started this blog, because there are so few of us out there... so many of you boys pretend to be... but we all know that you're really not.
I'm one of the rare breeds that doesn't just play the typical "girlie games," I play MMORPG's, I play shooters, I play platforms, I love my horror genre games, the fighting games.. I'm a self proclaimed dork, and I'm not ashamed of it! There aren't many girls out there that don't even know what those terms mean in the gaming world, let alone toss them around like that. You can be assured that I'm right there with you guys when it comes to gaming.
I too have experienced the pain and anguish that comes from waiting months, and sometimes YEARS (yes, YEARS ladies) for a long anticpated title to come out. (Thankfully Fable is finally here!)
I've stood in the lines on release date behind all the rest of the boys; salivateing at the thought of finally getting that one title just in my hands-let alone home, just eagerly awaiting my gaming fix.
Right now, I'm in the works of building a new system, just so I can run EQ2. Ive already bought my ATI 9700 pro video card, and am just saving my pennies for the rest of the parts. Slowly but surely, I'll drop in my Ram, and then I'm about good to go.
So, come launch day, I hope to see all you boys there. I'll keep u posted as to what I'm going to play. I was playing as a WAR/THEF.. working to SAM/NIN before I stopped playing FFXI. I'm thinking about going for a casting class this time- enchanter coercer or enchanter illusionist.
Again, I'll let you know what's going on with my character when it gets closer to launch, until then I will post my reviews on what I'm playing in the meantime (PC, Console, or otherwise)
